www.fruit-baskets.co.uk is a collaboration between two of the most respected names in fruit, The Worshipful Company of Fruiterers and M&W Mack Ltd.

For over 700 years, the Worshipful Company of Fruiterers has represented its trade, from a classic medieval guild to becoming a modern City institution. Companionship and conviviality have been the golden thread that has sustained the Company through many changes. Now the membership includes 250 Liverymen (men and women), a number of distinguished Honorary Liverymen and Honorary Freemen.

The Company promotes excellence across all sectors of the fruit industry, supports education and research and is active in raising funds for charity.

M&W Mack Ltd started life in 1874 with a market stall at Covent Garden. It has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of fruit, salads and vegetables to the UK, and it's still independently-owned. Various divisions of the company serve different sectors, from wholesale to supermarkets and food service companies. It's the committed team at Mack Service in Southampton who put together and manage the delivery of your fruit baskets, so you know you're assured of quality and a personal service at all times.

The charitable trust to which we give around 50% of the profits from this website is run by the Fruiterers. They ensure that each month fruit is distributed around 6 hostels for the homeless, providing an invaluable service and welcome dietary supplement.
